🎙️ Who you’ll hear from
People who’ve been inside the system but made unexpected choices about what to do next. Every guest has a different story. None of them have a tidy answer.
💡 What you’ll take away
Not advice, nor a 5-step framework. Just brutally honest conversations that make you feel less alone in the questions you didn’t know you were allowed to ask.
📅 When we drop
New episodes on the first and third Saturday of the month. One with guests and one without — so you hear the guests’ stories, followed by our deep dive into the topic.
Latest Episodes
The newest conversations, as they drop.
How It Began
This podcast started the way most good things in life do — completely by accident.
We met for the first time over lunch. Somehow, mid-conversation, we decided to start a podcast. No plan. No research. No carefully drafted content strategy.
Just two people who kept having the same conversations about purpose, about the scripts we were handed as kids, about what happens when you do everything right and still feel like something’s off — and figured other people probably needed to hear them too.
So here we are. (We really didn’t plan this.)
Who We Are
Faith is a locum GP and medical/lifestyle blogger on the path to Barista FIRE. After trading her hospital job for part-time doctoring, she’s spent her time demystifying med school for hopeful applicants, helping doctors navigate career pivots, and writing about all of it on Chasing Faith And Love.
Isaac studied undergraduate law, then postgraduate medicine, and somewhere along the way added education consulting and being a diving instructor to the mix. He’s professionally curious, constitutionally incapable of settling, and exactly the right person to co-host a show about not following the script.
Together they’ve spent a lot of time inside systems that reward compliance and punish detours. This podcast is what happens when they stop pretending that’s fine.
